I was dinking around with RSS and Atom feeds from blogs the other day, and ran across some software called NewsMonster. It’s a news client for Mozilla/Firefox, and has gotten good reviews. However, when I installed it, it caused Mozilla to hang. I killed the mozilla.exe process and restarted, but no luck – always it… Continue reading NewsMonster is evil

Star Trek – The Complete First Season (2004)
Star Trek – The Complete First Season (2004) – Ooh, I gotta have this! Until today, the only way to get the original Star Trek episodes on DVD was to buy them 2 episodes at a time, on a $20 DVD. This set lowers the price to around $5 or $6 per episode, if my… Continue reading Star Trek – The Complete First Season (2004)
Website Revamp Complete!
Well, I think it’s all in place now. I dumped my old front page and replaced it with my blog, tweaked out for maximum pleasure. Plus, I deleted a bunch of old pages that nobody cares about anyhow. So, here it is, my new website. Tell me what you think.

Wired News: Scientists Pin Date on L.A. Quake – I was lying in bed this morning in my hotel room in Pleasanton, CA, thinking about driving back across the San Francisco Bay on the Hayward Bridge. And then I remembered this Wired article I read about 6 months ago. These people predicted a 6.4 earthquake… Continue reading The Next Big One

Since I haven’t seen any comments on any of my blog entries in the past 4 months, I decided to stop using Haloscan. It’s a very nice service, but I just don’t need it. I’m using ChoiceMail One these days for my anti-spam program. It works very nice. Guess how much of my emails are… Continue reading Untitled
