If all goes well, I’m merging my 3 websites (toddbradley.com, 404notfound.net, and suvbacklash.com) into one, to be hosted at 1and1.com. Prices of web hosting has gone way down in the past few years. Currently, toddbradley.com is being hosted by a local company called 4dvision.net. They’ve given me good service, but I’m paying $25 a month for something I can get from 1and1.com for $5 a month.
Plus, since 404 Not Found isn’t gigging these days, I’m moving the website to be a subdomain of toddbradley.com. Previously, 404notfound.net had been hosted on HostBaby, which is a web hosting company specialized for independent musical artists. They provide a lot of nice features for a band website, but cost $20 a month.
So, I’ll have 2 redirected domains (suvbacklash.com and 404notfound.net) at $5/year, plus $5/month for hosting the whole thing. All told, I’m down to around $70/year, instead of the $545/year I’m currently spending. The saved money will go to help buy parts for a new PC.
