In other news, Beth is in Kansas City this week for the funeral of her aunt. She was originally planning to go to Arizona all Thanksgiving week as part of the Traditional Support Caravan. But we got news on Friday (after the truck was loaded with 800 pounds of flour) of her aunt’s death. So her plans changed.
I was going to volunteer to help make Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless at a local restaurant, but I found that they had so many volunteers they’re turning them away. So I’ll be home alone for Thanksgiving. I’m going to make a nice meal for myself and spend the day playing music and watching movies and playing TFC.
My menu is something like this:
pork chop stuffed with apple and almond stuffing
steamed asparagus in sesame oil and rice wine vinegar
whole wheat European crusty bread
cherry pie
