London police say John Blagrove and Cara Burton have been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and MDMA, also known as ecstasy.The suspects were released on bail Thursday until their next court appearance on July 1.
Police began an investigation after photos from the footage were published in The Sun newspaper in January. Detectives say Winehouse will not be charged in the case.
Wow, they sure do things different in England. Charging the drug dealers but letting the user go free? Here in the US, the dealers would be charged, of course, but the user would be sent to prison, her personal possessions seized by the DEA, and her family charged with conspiracy since they didn’t turn her in to police.
