The film I co-wrote and directed for the 48 Hour Film Project is done! The contest was this past weekend, starting at 7 PM on Friday and ending at 7:30 PM tonight. And no, I don’t know why it ends at 7:30 and not 7:00 even. But we were up late Friday night writing the story as a group, then I spent another hour or two writing it up in script format. Then we filmed lots of scenes in lots of locations from 8 AM Saturday to about 10:30 PM Saturday. After resting up, I shot another 2 or 3 hours today, and then I spent the afternoon helping our very tired editor finish the editing. We turned our film in at about 6:30, nearly an hour ahead of the deadline. It premieres Wednesday night.
I’d write more about the contest, but I’m very tired and about to fall asleep.
