Geez, my life has been too busy lately, all in the pursuit of the arts. After finishing up the grueling 48 Hour Film Project that I told you a little about in the last blog post, I spent every night last week doing some other artistic stuff. Monday, Thursday, and Friday nights were dedicated to rehearsals for the play that I was in Saturday night. Tuesday night I presented “HDTS Promo Video” at the Bug Theater in Denver. And Wednesday night was the premiere of “Discretion” and the other 48 Hour Film Project entries.
Saturday, as I mentioned, was devoted to our final dress rehearsal and last minute preparations for the once-a-year theater performance I was in. I played Executive Administrator Tarkin in a play we wrote called “Conviviality U”. The audience loved me, and booed and hissed just about every time I came on stage. The show was that evening, and then the cast party was after that.
Sunday was spent recuperating, and Beth and I went to the Boulder Reservoir for some sunbathing and swimming.
But now it’s Monday and things are mostly back to normal.
Here’s a link to “Discretion” just in case you didn’t make it to the premiere:
One of these days, I’ll put “HDTS Promo Video” up on YouTube, too. But not today.
